On behalf of Beta Solutions, we are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsperson to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in translating architectural concepts into precise, high-quality technical drawings and documentation.
Position Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Preparing accurate and detailed architectural drawings, plans, and 3D models.
- Supporting the team in developing architectural layouts for temporary and permanent structures, facades, formwork systems, and other project-specific components.
- Converting engineering and architectural concepts into technical drawings aligned with project and client requirements.
- Coordinating architectural drawings with civil, structural, and services disciplines to ensure cohesive and clash-free designs.
- Assisting in the preparation of construction documentation, including specifications, schedules, and technical reports.
- Participating in design meetings and site coordination to ensure accurate drafting outcomes based on real-time project developments.
- Incorporating relevant Australian Building Codes, NCC requirements, and local council regulations into all drafting documentation.
- Supporting drafting for tender submissions, design proposals, and client presentations.
- Updating and maintaining drawing registers and document control in line with internal QA systems.
- • Diploma or higher qualification in Architecture, Building Design, Architectural Drafting, or highly related field, or at least three years of relevant work experience if no qualification.
- Proficiency in CAD software and any other relevant drafting tools.
- Strong understanding of commercial and residential space design principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for accuracy, innovation, and problem-solving.
- Proven experience in architectural drafting for a least 1 year.
Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $73,000 - $85,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
