The Role
We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our dedicated kitchen team. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who values quality, consistency, and the rich tradition of Italian cooking.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of traditional and contemporary Italian dishes
Supervise kitchen operations and coordinate with front-of-house staff
Assist in menu planning, portion control, and cost management
Uphold food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards at all times
Monitor and manage stock levels and kitchen inventory
Provide guidance and support to junior kitchen staff
Requirements
Minimum 12 months of full-time relevant work experience as a Chef
Completed Certificate IV and Diploma in Hospitality
Proven skills in Italian cuisine and cooking methods
Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
