AWX Executive has partnered with a National Manufacturer in search for a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join their business in a permanent position. Join a team that values safety, excellence, and teamwork, contributing to the success and efficiency of their operations.

As a Maintenance Fitter, you’ll be responsible for maintaining essential equipment and facilities across various sites. This role is critical to minimising production downtime and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead safety initiatives, including permit-to-work systems and change management
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical equipment
• Respond quickly to breakdowns to reduce production downtime
• Fabricate and install new equipment as needed for projects
• Oversee the work order system, ensuring maintenance tasks align with business priorities
• Collaborate with stores personnel to manage equipment stocks
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop and storage area

What We’re Looking For:

• Trade qualification
• Relevant trade experience (any industry but manufacturing is advantageous)
• Great attitude and willingness to be a team player
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
