About Us
Amid the infamous high-end shopping district of High Street, Armadale, Auterra Wine Bar offers comfort and style, where we celebrate the simple things in life: great wine, food and each other’s company. Known for our quality, seasonal produce and delectable snacks, and our carefully curated wine selections.
Join an evolving and exciting company and work closely alongside our sister fine dining restaurant Amaru Melbourne, one of the most recently recognised three hat teams to develop a ‘one of a kind’ venue.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking our next Restaurant Supervisor, who’s as passionate about wine and great service as we are! You will play a key role in the daily operations of our venue, ensuring each shift runs smoothly and every guest leaves smiling (and maybe with a new favourite wine!). Assist in implementing and maintaining policies and procedures, including food, beverage, and service training documents
Work alongside our sommelier to maintain and grow an exciting and diverse wine list, including a regularly changing wine by the glass selection
Be an integral part of the venue’s growth and development

Collaborate with senior leadership to drive in-house private events, wine dinners, and community-driven experiences

Assist in ensuring operational and financial procedures are completed accurately, including staff rostering, cash handling, daily reporting, guest enquiries, and special requests

Key Selection Criteria

1+ years of experience in a similar role
WSET level 2 or CMS Certified Sommelier training is preferred, but not compulsory
Bartending and cocktail knowledge is preferred, but not compulsory
Impeccable personal presentation
Strong work ethics, leadership, time management and communication skills

Passionate about enhancing guest experiences through their knowledge of food, wine and service
