An established organisation based in Subiaco is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to support their finance team during a peak period. This is a broad role offering exposure across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, banking, and general finance tasks.

This role is looking to be for around 2-3 months, and will see you working closely with the Management Accountant and wider finance team.

The Role

Enter and monitor purchase orders to ensure accuracy and currency
Process supplier invoices and verify those entered by others
Reconcile supplier statements and ensure payments are made in line with terms
Maintain supplier records and respond to internal and external queries
Generate and manage invoices in coordination with departmental teams
Process remittances and bank receipts
Maintain customer records and manage debtor follow-ups
Reconcile outstanding receivables
Perform weekly bank reconciliations
Reconcile petty cash, floats, and cash takings
Handle secure banking of cash

About You

Strong experience in transactional finance
High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Immediately available
