[ref. a55396617] Accounts Officer - Subiaco
An established organisation based in Subiaco is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to support their finance team during a peak period. This is a broad role offering exposure across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, banking, and general finance tasks.
This role is looking to be for around 2-3 months, and will see you working closely with the Management Accountant and wider finance team.
The Role- Enter and monitor purchase orders to ensure accuracy and currency
- Process supplier invoices and verify those entered by others
- Reconcile supplier statements and ensure payments are made in line with terms
- Maintain supplier records and respond to internal and external queries
- Generate and manage invoices in coordination with departmental teams
- Process remittances and bank receipts
- Maintain customer records and manage debtor follow-ups
- Reconcile outstanding receivables
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations
- Reconcile petty cash, floats, and cash takings
- Handle secure banking of cash
- Strong experience in transactional finance
- High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Immediately available
