What you will do?:
- Prepare food in bulk quantities, including large‑scale cooking and bulk sandwich production
- Follow standardised recipes and production schedules to ensure consistency and quality
- Conduct temperature checks, manage food labelling, and control cross‑contamination
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety at all times
- Ensure compliance with WHS and Food Safety regulations
- Work independently to meet daily production targets within required timeframes
More about you:
- Previous experience as a cook in a high‑volume or bulk production environment, preferred
- Experience in catering or production kitchen, highly regarded
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, production‑driven setting
- Currently working toward Commercial Cookery Certificate, highly regarded
- Willingness to learn under guidance from our chefs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety
- Availability to work flexible shift patterns, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
