NXT GIG is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Receivable Officer to join our finance team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
You will handle incoming payments, manage outgoing bills, maintain vendor and customer relationships, and assist in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities- Process invoices and payments for accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Manage accounts receivable by generating invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions for both accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts to resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with month-end closing processes and prepare financial reports related to accounts payable and receivable.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and effective communication with vendors and customers.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation for accounts payable and receivable activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with vendors, customers, and team members.
