Cool room Installer

We are currently seeking to employ Panel Installers and Sheet metal workers in our Contracting Team to assist in the construction and installation of commercial cool rooms for our clients in the construction, food processing and cold storage industries.
With several positions available due to continued expansion and career progression of our already established team, successful candidates will be offered casual work with a view to permanent roles within our professional, friendly, and hard-working site teams.

With this being site work there will be elements of travel across NSW, QLD and ACT. Site work offers varied & interesting projects, with our projects ranging from small cool rooms and site amenities to large cold storage facilities, cleanrooms, and freezer rooms.
The roles will require the following:- Collaborating with Leading Hands and the team to complete projects.
- Safely operating equipment and tools.
- Ensuring the quality and integrity of workmanship.
- Adhering to project timelines and schedules.
- Contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.
- Heavy manual lifting
- Setting out, preparing and installing coolroom panels
- Attending various site locations
- Reading drawings
- Over sealing (Caulking)
- DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE WORKING IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY FOR A MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR – required
- Flexible to travel throughout NSW and Interstate as needed – required
- Prepared for early starts with 7–12-hour days
- Prepared to work reasonable daily & weekend overtime as required
- A strong work ethic and commitment to quality
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
- Ability to work in a team
- Reliable
- Punctual
- Great communication skills
- Physically fit.
- Experience working with coolroom panels is preferred
- Driver Licence- required
- Own Reliable Transport - required
- White Card- required
- EWP Licence -preferred
- Forklift Licence -preferred

- Permanent role (Casual during probation period)
- Wage – subject to experience
- Minimum 35hr week (includes RDO accrual after probation period)
- 4 weeks Annual Leave per year (after probation period)
- 10 days Carer's leave per year (after probation period)
- Time off Over Christmas/ New Year Period.
