- At least an AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma is generally required for this position; however, at least three years of relevant, highly skilled experience may substitute for the formal qualifications in some instances
- Expected salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year

What you’ll do at COMTECReporting to the Service and/or Operations Manager, your role will involve:
o Conducting maintenance, diagnostics, calibrations, and repairs on a variety of Injection moulding, automation, robotics, and industrial equipment with a focus on our German and French partner brands.
o Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks to reduce equipment downtime, including organising and supervising inspection of same.
o Installing and commissioning new equipment at client sites, ensuring optimal functionality. Carrying out testing to ensure optimal efficiency.
o Selecting tools and equipment as needed to carry out installation and maintenance work.
o At all times, ensuring that all equipment operates within specifications, regulations and contract provisions.
o Providing training and technical support to clients to maximize the performance of their equipment.
o Keeping accurate records of service work, parts used, and repairs made, and estimating costs and quantities to carry out same. Collecting and analysing data as required.
o Troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components on complex machinery.
o Working with our sales and support teams to ensure customer needs are met with efficiency and excellence.
o Staying up-to-date with product knowledge and industry advancements. Assisting with plans and designs as required.
