Junior Financial Dealer

MOOMOO AU is seeking a Junior Financial Dealer to join their dynamic team in the Sydney office. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a desire to make an immediate impact at our growing firm. This is a full-time role and will be primarily responsible for executing financial market transactions, managing client portfolio risk, and providing exceptional trade support services leveraging our innovative trading platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute client equities and options trades using moomoo’s proprietary order management systems, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Ensuring that all transactions are in accordance with regulatory rules and internal policies and procedures.
• Provide trade support services, including risk monitoring of client portfolios, managing margin calls, and monitoring trading limits.
• Respond promptly and professionally to client trading inquiries, providing exceptional service within designated timeframes.
• Analyse the financial market landscape to provide management with market insights and identify client trends.
• Maintaining relationships with clients, various technology providers and execution brokers.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve operational issues.
• Collaborate with Product teams to deliver ad-hoc business improvement and product enhancement projects.
• Ensure compliance with departmental procedures and market regulations.
• Maintain detailed records of trades and client communications.
• This position may occasionally require covering night shifts
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or related field.
• In-depth knowledge of global financial markets, equities and options trading workflows.
• Keen interest in trading platforms and market connectivity
• Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
• Experience in trading risk management
• Knowledge of market regulations and compliance requirements
• Familiarity with the US market structure and options products would be advantageous
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Holding or working towards relevant industry certifications (e.g. RG146, ADA 1 & 2)
