- Develop and manage project plans, including defining project scope, budgets, goals, and deliverables.
- Coordinate and manage project tasks to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
- Liaise with stakeholders (clients, team members, and management) to clarify project requirements and ensure alignment with goals.
- Monitor project progress, address risks, and implement solutions as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
- Write and develop engaging content for online reports, presentations, and key messages.
- Assist in storytelling and reviewing articles to ensure alignment with project and client objectives.
- Create graphics and digital assets for campaigns, social media, websites, and events.
- Update and manage social media accounts, websites, and MailChimp campaigns to share projects, campaigns, and broadcasts.
- Upload and manage audio content using Omny Studio for community radio distribution.
- Conduct online and in-person meetings with clients and stakeholders, including community broadcasters, government agencies, and private organisations.
- Assist in planning and promoting events.
- Select news stories, coordinate with writers, and ensure news alignment with the organisation’s mission.
- Post and categorise news content in relevant Slack channels and maintain the news wire system.
- Design graphics and update social media.
- Develop and execute communication strategies.
- Write and review content for campaigns, reports, and news services.
- Attend meetings and liaise with stakeholders.
- Post updates on websites and digital platforms.
Qualifications/Attributes:
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or relevant field or at least 5 years of relevant work experience in lieu of the qualification.
- Must possess at least a minimum of 1 year of post-qualification work experience.
- Must have experience in content development, project management, and stakeholder management.
- Strong proficiency in graphic design, social media management, and website administration.
- Familiarity with software tools like Slack, MailChimp, etc.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 p.a. excluding superannuation.
