  • Develop and manage project plans, including defining project scope, budgets, goals, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate and manage project tasks to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
  • Liaise with stakeholders (clients, team members, and management) to clarify project requirements and ensure alignment with goals.
  • Monitor project progress, address risks, and implement solutions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
  • Write and develop engaging content for online reports, presentations, and key messages.
  • Assist in storytelling and reviewing articles to ensure alignment with project and client objectives.
  • Create graphics and digital assets for campaigns, social media, websites, and events.
  • Update and manage social media accounts, websites, and MailChimp campaigns to share projects, campaigns, and broadcasts.
  • Upload and manage audio content using Omny Studio for community radio distribution.
  • Conduct online and in-person meetings with clients and stakeholders, including community broadcasters, government agencies, and private organisations.
  • Assist in planning and promoting events.
  • Select news stories, coordinate with writers, and ensure news alignment with the organisation’s mission.
  • Post and categorise news content in relevant Slack channels and maintain the news wire system.
  • Design graphics and update social media.
  • Develop and execute communication strategies.
  • Write and review content for campaigns, reports, and news services.
  • Attend meetings and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Post updates on websites and digital platforms.

Qualifications/Attributes:

  • Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or relevant field or at least 5 years of relevant work experience in lieu of the qualification.
  • Must possess at least a minimum of 1 year of post-qualification work experience.
  • Must have experience in content development, project management, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong proficiency in graphic design, social media management, and website administration.
  • Familiarity with software tools like Slack, MailChimp, etc.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 p.a. excluding superannuation.
