Computer Network and Systems Engineer

A Computer Network and Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting network and system infrastructure to ensure efficient communication and data exchange across an organisation.
Key Responsibilities: Designing and deploying network and system architectures based on business needs.
Configuring and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues to minimise downtime.
Implementing security measures such as encryption, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
Managing cloud networking solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Conducting system analysis and recommending infrastructure upgrades.
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Collaborating with IT teams to support business operations and user requirements.
Skills & Qualifications: Expertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
Experience with enterprise networking equipment (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet).Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and VPN technologies.
Ability to manage network automation and cloud-based services.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Networking, or related field with relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+).
