Tara Forklift Services have positions available for Mechanical Fitters with Forklift experience or Forklift Mechanics.

About the Role

Working with an experienced and highly dedicated team, the holders of these positions will be responsible for delivering a high quality of service to our customers whilst performing scheduled maintenance and repair work. These are permanent, full time positions.

1. Fault finding and troubleshooting ensuring all faults are fixed and quickly resolved
2. Completing scheduled services to ensure customer requirements and service agreements are upheld and to ensure the safety of the

1. Daily workload management ensuring that all jobs are attended to within the specified time frames
2. checking fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy, clearance and fit using precision measuring instruments
3. diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of forklifts, and overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power

1. cutting, threading, bending and installing hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines
2. Deliver a professional level of service at all times
3. Maintain an accurate service diary/time sheet record of work performed

Qualifications and Experience

Suitable applicants will have the following:

1. AQF Certificate III in Forklift Technology, or equivalent or relevant experience

1. AQF Certificate III Mechanical Trade, or equivalent or relevant experience

1. Prior servicing, diagnostics and hydraulic experience
2. Demonstrated understanding of electrical systems

Remuneration

$73,150 to $80,000 per annum

Remuneration will reflect current market conditions and industry award rates. To be discussed with the successful applicant.
