With expertise and years of experience, we develop quality construction and development, ensuring precision, cost, and time efficiency.We are now looking for an experienced Civil Engineering Drafter to join us and help us develop and expand.
Annual Salary: $90,376 plus superannuation contributions
Duties and responsibilities of the Civil Engineering Drafter:
- Analysing and examining data; creating detailed and precise technical drawings for civil engineering works for projects by using AutoCAD
- Working closely with engineers to clarify project design specifications, reviewing and examining technical documents to ensure accuracy; reviewing and adjusting existing drawings to ensure compliance with relevant terms and regulations
- Assessing and estimating material quantities, calculating construction costs, and preparing material cost proposals
- Visiting the construction site and conducting fieldwork to ensure adherence to the design; gathering data and providing input on technical issues related to the project
- Participating in the project-related meetings with other colleagues, providing updates on the progress of the project
The applicant must have the following required skills and experience:
QualificationDiploma or higher level qualification in Civil Engineering or related field
ExperienceAt least three years of relevant work experience
Essential Skills- Proficiency in civil engineering drafter software such as AutoCAD
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent ability to read and create civil engineering drawings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant industry experience is preferred
