Your responsibilities include conducting site evaluations, ensuring safety compliance, preparing technical documentation, and contributing to the design of transportation systems and infrastructure projects.

• Plan and determine construction and pre-casting methods, materials, and quality standards for project delivery. This includes drafting and interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, and procedures related to construction and pre-casting.
• Execute engineering tasks such as detailed design, verification, and studies relevant to the discipline, focusing on cost-effective and simplified designs that prioritize safety and fabrication efficiency.
• Develop design specifications for pre-cast components, overseeing their manufacturing, delivery, and installation.
• Calculate load and grade requirements, as well as material stress factors, to establish design specifications.
• Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Lead or participate in surveying to define installation layouts, establish reference points, and determine grades and elevations to guide construction.
• Estimate the quantities and costs of materials, equipment, and labor to assess project feasibility.
• Prepare and present public reports, including bid proposals, deeds, environmental impact statements, and descriptions of property and right-of-way.
• Prepare technical documentation for civil material requisitions and support the procurement department with technical evaluations.
• Evaluate construction sites and perform inspections, field tests, and laboratory tests on local soils and construction materials.
• Design the physical components of transportation systems, including highways, railways, urban transit, air transportation, logistics networks, and associated terminals.

• Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field
• Must possess at least a minimum of 1 – 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Must have great written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be excellent at time management to meet project deadlines.
• Must be proficient in the latest versions of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software packages.

Salary Range: $73,000 – $95,000 p.a. excluding superannuation.
