Kenilworth Country Bakery Pty Ltd is currently recruiting experienced Cooks to support kitchen operations at its newly acquired full-service restaurant located in Samford Village, Queensland 4520. These are full-time positions offering a competitive annual salary package of AUD 70-80K plus superannuation, with flexibility available for the right candidates.

Scope of the role:- Regularly prepare, cook, and season various foods according to the menu.
- Portion and present food as required, ensuring the set quality.
- Ensuring proper storage per controlled temperature guidelines.
- Season dishes correctly during the cooking process to enhance flavour.
- Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure they meet established standards.
- Assess food items to ensure they meet quality and safety criteria.
- Cook orders in compliance with food health and safety standards and dietary requirements.
- Assist senior chefs by executing their direction into consistently high-quality dishes, maintaining efficiency and precision across all sections of the kitchen.
- Routine kitchen operations, including stock rotation, and necessary paperwork on a daily basis.
- Set up and organise workstations efficiently.
- Prepare ovens, utensils, and grills for shifts.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (WHS) and HACCP protocols.
- Be willing to relocate if you are interstate or in other cities.
- Be available on both days at weekends and be able to work split shifts.
- Certificates III & IV in Commercial Cookery
- Have at least 2 years of work experience as a Cook
- Ability to work in a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
