This is a senior role that provides operational leadership for our CX Housing services. You’ll lead service delivery and manage customer relationships to ensure we meet our contractual commitments, while also identifying and resolving operational risks.

You’ll work closely with the Customer Officer, peers, and colleagues to ensure CX customer needs are fulfilled, while also identifying opportunities to broaden and enhance our services and operational capabilities.

This role serves as a key focal point for the CX business as we grow and expand. It’s a market-leading position that involves matrix management of project managers and consultants, supported by their line managers and the wider management team.

As the Service Delivery Manager you’ll oversee the following
  • Own the delivery relationships with CX customers, supported by the Project Managers and Consultant Manager.
  • Implement and maintain focused operational processes and reporting for CX.
  • Provide high-quality, accurate insights and recommendations on trends and opportunities to enhance and localise the product.
  • Take ownership of customer escalations related to service and delivery, with support from the Market Leader and Chief Customer Officer.
  • Contribute input and advice to the Business Development team as needed for customer proposals.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient project transitions to support, working closely with support leaders.
  • Support team development and build market awareness of the housing sector.

Requirements

What you will need to be successful in this role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Excellent communication skills, both internal and external
  • Proven commercial judgment and business acumen
  • Effective planning skills, both strategic and adaptable to change
  • Demonstrated experience in service delivery management
  • Experience leading delivery teams in environments with frequent deployments
  • Comfortable working under pressure in complex, fast-paced settings
  • Skilled in presenting and negotiating with a range of stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of, and keen interest in, the Housing and GovTech markets
  • Primarily a business-facing role, requiring the ability to communicate technical or project issues in plain English, with a focus on business impact for executive stakeholders
