Assistant Accountant

What you'll do:
You will take on a variety of duties which will include:
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations and explaining discrepancies, movements, and irregularities.
- Assisting in the preparation of the annual IFRS statutory financial statement.
- Maintaining compliance (income tax, CGT, payroll tax, GST, PTR and LSL).
- Assisting in key elements of group, joint venture and subsidiary monthly management and board reporting.
- Support inter-company billing and recharge processes, including raising AR invoices
- Compiling financial data and account ledgers for the purpose of consolidating and analysing financial statements and results
- Supporting the external audit process.
- Supporting the day-to-day treasury activities
Who you are:
You will be a fully, or part-qualified, accountant (with the intention to complete) with ambition to keep learning and developing. You can be someone with industry experience or a First Mover looking to move into a commercial role.You're a team player who enjoys being in an environment where everyone pitches in and works well together.
