Based in Botany, we’re looking for someone who is process driven with at least 2 years experience in food production (ideally pastry or bread) to join our growing team. This is a warehouse setting, so if you have pick&packing experience, or any general warehouse experience this would be advantageous.
Hours are based on an approx. 38hr week 630am-230pm Monday – Friday.Responsibilities and desired experience include -
Preparation of ingredients, weighing ingredients and following recipes to produce consistent results. Every time!Packing, labelling and packaging products as necessary with an eye for detail
Bread making, mixing doughs
Using a dough-sheeter and working with pastry
Cooking seasonal speciality items for our markets days
Cleaning duties to maintain excellent food safety requirements
Understanding of how to receive orders, help with stock inventory and stock rotation as necessary
Support our continuing focus on sustainability practices
The ability to work harmoniously as part of a team, as well as autonomously
Warehouse experience or forklift license an advantage
