Cyber Engineering - SME
The successful candidate will support the cyber security team in tailoring solutions to meet the business requirements of the ANZ region. This position holds significant accountability in the delivery of local cyber security engineering initiatives.
What you'll do:
As a Cyber Engineering Specialist, your role will be pivotal in leading the expansion of our client's local capabilities within Australia. You will establish security requirements on projects that are deployed in the ANZ region and align these requirements with those established in Global Cyber Security landscape.Your ability to develop and validate cyber security requirements and architectures in various environments will be crucial. You will also provide support to other ICT and Cyber Security areas in project coordination and delivery as well as process improvements.
- Establish security requirements on projects deployed in the ANZ region.
- Develop and validate cybersecurity requirements and architectures.
- Identify, define, scope, plan, coordinate and deliver projects enhancing cybersecurity posture.
- Support ICT Applications area in coordinating pen-testing with external partners.
- Prepare and maintain documentation of cybersecurity operational procedures.
- Contribute to the evolution of the company's ANZ cybersecurity roadmap.
- Maintain currency with both local and international cybersecurity trends.
What you bring:
The ideal Cyber Engineering Specialist candidate will bring a strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technology, vulnerability management, security architecture, network security and secure software design methodologies. Your hands-on ability to perform black box and white box penetration testing will be essential.An in-depth understanding of Secure Software Development and DevSecOps is required for this role. Your proficiency in operational level written and verbal communications will be crucial for collaborative teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technology, vulnerability management, security architecture, network security and secure software design methodologies.
- Hands-on ability to perform black box and white box penetration testing.
- In-depth understanding of Secure Software Development and DevSecOps.
- Ability to review configuration of cloud services.
- Proficiency in operational level written and verbal communications.
- Ability to coordinate within Corporate Cyber Security team to deploy various security capabilities.
