The Role
As a Computer Network and Systems Engineer at Dipole Group, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network infrastructures for our clients. Your expertise will ensure the seamless operation of ICT and Telecom networks, aligning with our commitment to delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Network Design & Implementation:
o Deploy and configure network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- System Administration & Maintenance:
o Perform system upgrades, patches, and backups to safeguard data integrity and protect against security threats.
- Security & Compliance:
o Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, aligning with best practices in network security.
- Troubleshooting & Support:
o Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Documentation & Reporting:
o Generate detailed reports on network performance, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Skills & Qualifications:- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications (Preferred): AWS, CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent certifications.
- 3+ years of experience in Computer network administration or IT infrastructure support.
- Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
o Experience with network management tools and monitoring software.o Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and virtualization technologies.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Based in Sydney, with potential opportunities to work on regional and international projects.
- Occasional requirement to work outside standard business hours to perform system maintenance or address critical issues.
Salary: From $85,000 AUD to $105,000 AUD per annum plus Superannuation
