Level 2 Desktop Support Engineer - Immediate Start
We're seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer for an ongoing contract in the heart of Sydney CBD. If you enjoy solving technical challenges in a fast-paced environment, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside a supportive IT team.
In this role, you'll support end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and play a key role in keeping daily operations smooth 5 days a week on-site. We're looking for a hands-on, tech-savvy problem-solver with a proactive mindset and the drive to deliver seamless IT solutions.
You'll bring:
- 5+ years of experience in IT support, with a strong grasp of Office 365 and Windows 10/11.
- Experience in managing iOS devices to keep mobile operations running smoothly.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar incident management tools to handle and escalate common issues.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for diagnosing software and hardware problems, both independently and as part of a team.
- Confidence in setting up, configuring, and relocating IT equipment, including managing loan equipment.
- Ability to organise teleconference and video conference setups, liaising with presenters and resolving issues as needed.
- Proficiency in Active Directory and Group Policy management, including user accounts and security settings.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP, and familiarity with VC Systems.
- Skill in using remote desktop support tools such as TeamViewer and RDP, along with knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS and deployment tools like SCCM or Intune.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions to safeguard data.
