We are undergoing a technology reset to scale globally. We are seeking an experienced Lead QA Engineer to be a trusted partner in ensuring we can deliver rapid product innovation and quality.

Why This Role Matters

As we undergo an exciting technology transformation, we are looking for a Lead QA Engineer to establish and drive best practices in quality assurance. This is a senior, hands-on role where you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our new product range across mobile apps, web-based systems, APIs, and wearable technology applications.

  • Report and track software issues / risks, ensuring they are managed and resolved by the team.
  • Establish performance and security testing strategies for wearable and mobile applications.
Collaboration & Product Alignment
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to integrate QA into the development lifecycle.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers and help build a high-performing test team.
  • Work closely with Product, Design, and Data Science teams to understand functional needs and quality outcomes.
  • Partner with Regulatory and Security teams to ensure compliance with industry data security and privacy standards (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR).

Requirements

You are a technical leader with a passion for scaling engineering teams and building AI-driven safety solutions. You thrive in fast-paced, scale-up environments and are comfortable with both hands-on coding and high-level strategy.

Key skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, including mobile apps (iOS and Android), web, and backend services/APIs testing.
  • Strong scripting and coding skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python for automation.
  • Proven experience leading QA strategies and best practices in an agile environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with test automation (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred) and cloud environments (AWS, Lambda, DynamoDB).
  • Experience working in a scale-up or fast-growth technology company is a plus.
Highly Desirable
  • Working knowledge of performance tools such as JMeter, Locust, or K6
  • Experience in watch app testing (iOS/Android).
  • Experience working in regulated industries (healthcare, safety, security, or finance).
Benefits
  • Impact: Be part of a team building cutting-edge AI-driven safety solutions to ensure loved ones are connected happy, healthy and safe.
