SAP S&OP / APO Consultant (Manufacturing SME)

Maintain Technology Consulting is seeking a talented SAP S&OP / APO Consultant with expertise in manufacturing to join our team. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will leverage your extensive knowledge of Supply Chain processes and SAP solutions to support our clients in optimizing their planning operations and enhancing overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

SAP S&OP/APO Implementation:

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S&OP and APO solutions tailored for manufacturing environments.
• Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and develop effective planning strategies.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on best practices and system functionalities.

Process Optimization:

• Analyze existing supply chain processes and identify opportunities for improvement through SAP solutions.
• Implement process changes that enhance forecasting, demand planning, and inventory management.
• Review and optimize master data to ensure accurate and efficient planning operations.

Collaborative Planning:

• Support the integration of S&OP processes across functional areas such as sales, operations, and finance.
• Encourage collaboration between cross-functional teams to facilitate effective decision-making.
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives.

System Testing and Support:

• Develop testing scenarios and conduct system testing to ensure adherence to functional requirements.
• Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for end-users.
• Monitor and analyze system performance to recommend enhancements or modifications.

• 5+ years of experience with SAP S&OP or APO in manufacturing environments.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, specifically in production planning, forecasting, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, APO, or other relevant SAP modules, with strong configuration and implementation experience.
• Experience in managing S&OP processes, including demand planning, supply planning, and integrated business planning.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and drive process improvements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and provide leadership as needed.
• Relevant certifications in SAP or supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) are a plus.
