Our Client MOONTA HEALTH AND AGED CARE SERVICES INC - 86 431 340 844 – Located in Moonta, SA is seeking a Full-time Cook position for between $70,000 - $85,000 a year.

DUTIES:

• Keeping food stored safely in temperature-regulated environments
• Could be involved in training junior kitchen staff and apprentices
• Controlling the heat settings of stoves, ovens, grills, and other kitchen appliances
• Cooking and preparing a variety of dishes
• Serving food by portioning it correctly, plating it, and including sauces, gravies, and decorative garnishes etc - or what may be required as per recipe.
• Inspecting ingredients and meals to maintain high quality standards
• Making meals that accommodate specific dietary needs
• Might be responsible for creating menus and estimating necessary food supplies
• Adding seasoning and flavour enhancements while cooking

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Is hard working and has a strong work ethic
• Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen
• Ability to work across multiple sections in the kitchen
• Loves to work in a great team environment
• Can provide high quality food with attention to detail
• Able to handle high volumes of meals
• A desire for long term employment
