You’ll be part of our fast-paced and high-volume operation, primarily working across Coopers Alehouse and our Production Kitchen, delivering exceptional food and service to to thousands of travellers every day.

What you will do?:
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ensure all dishes meet presentation and quality standards
- Uphold kitchen hygiene, food safety, WHS and HACCP compliance
- Assist with daily prep, stock rotation, and equipment maintenance
- Work collaboratively within a team to ensure efficient service during peak periods
- Support a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Flexibly work across a rotating roster including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays
- Act as second-in-charge to the Head Chef
- Provide supervision and support across all back-of-house departments
- Manage ordering, stock control, and kitchen administration
- Lead sections during service and assist with training junior kitchen staff
More about you:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (mandatory)
- Experience in high-volume, fast-paced kitchens
- Proven ability to work within WHS and HACCP guidelines
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to lead or support a team under pressure
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster including weekends and public holidays
- Experience with ordering, stock control, and kitchen admin (Chef de Partie)
- Chef de Partie: $73,210 + superannuation
- Demi Chef: $71,312 + superannuation
