This site requires charismatic, very pro-active and present experienced support workers (who are available for over night shifts and reliable) who have great communication skills and a love for deep conversation, person centered care and making a difference!
Your role:
- Promote choice and control and show eagerness to participate in our clients’ day to day routines, goals, and interests.
- Follow positive behaviour support and client care support plans as directed by clinical teams and site managers.
- Encourage capacity building to enhance clients’ current skills, such as hygiene, safe relationships, domestic duties, using public transport and accessing the community safely.
- Person centered active support
- Provide personal care and manual handling with dignity and respect.
- To be efficient in computer skills and report writing!
We are aware there are quite a few compliance checks (listed below) for this role however, what’s important to us is that you have regular access to your own car and a P2 NSW Drivers License or higher and flexible availability across a 24/7 roster which may include, mornings (6am-2pm OR 7am-3pm), afternoons (2pm-10pm OR 3pm- 11pm), active/sleepover nights (10pm-6am OR 11pm-7am).
