We're looking for an experienced and passionate & experienced Chef to join our experienced team working for a well-known local restaurant based in Dural, NSW.

Cuisine: Italian/Mediterranean

Seating capacity: over 500

Great work life balance(no nights except Fri/Sat) & Great working environment.

MUST be driving as location not near station

Knowledge, Qualifications, skills and Attributes:

Experience in Pasta, Grill and Woodfire Pizza section
Previous experience of 2-3 years
Working knowledge of WH&S and food safety procedures.
Is approachable and tolerant
Works in an efficient and innovative manner
Professional presentation and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all level of the organisation
Great service and communication skills
Immaculate personal grooming and presentation
Demonstration of organisation behaviour and values
Building a Guest Culture and able to be building Trust and Teamwork

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Ensuring standards in food quality, consistency and WH&S are met
Accountable for food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards
Ensures a first in first out rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organised for quality assurance
Follow food standards including presentation, products, and service style among others.
Acts as liaison to front-of-house employees to ensure proper food service temperature
Seasons food according to recipes or company need
Prepares any necessary sauces or accompaniments before meal service begins
Cleans up after business hours
