Job Description

As a Business Development Manager, you will focus on acquiring new business (80%) and managing client relationships (20%). Your primary responsibilities will include prospecting, networking, and building a client base through cold calling, meetings, and high-quality consultative selling.

  • Acquire new business through networking, prospecting, and client meetings.
  • Manage a sales pipeline and achieve monthly sales targets ($4,500 - $7,500).
  • Collaborate with Client Success Managers for on boarding, optimising, and retaining client campaigns.
  • Offer consultative digital marketing solutions tailored to client's needs.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Development Manager should have:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with clients and understand their needs.
  • Has a proven background in consultative, outcome-based selling with a tenacious approach to building new business.
  • Demonstrates strong relationship-building skills, a team-oriented attitude, and a passion for digital marketing.
  • Brings excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and a resilient mindset in managing rejection and securing new opportunities.
  • Ideally, has experience in digital marketing or media sales, though training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Is flexible, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, vibrant team environment.
