Your Role
As a Chef at Indian Corner Restaurant, you will play a key role in preparing high-quality Indian dishes, managing kitchen operations, and contributing to menu development. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise in a fast-paced and vibrant environment.

Salary: $74,000 - $76,000 Annually + Superannuation
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, cook, and present a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori specialties, and vegetarian delights.
- Contribute to menu planning, incorporating seasonal ingredients and new culinary trends while maintaining traditional flavors.
- Oversee the daily running of the kitchen, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining food cost controls.
- Ensure all dishes meet the restaurant’s high standards for taste, presentation, and consistency.
- Maintain strict food safety and hygiene practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver seamless service during busy shifts.
Qualifications: Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Chef, preferably in an Indian restaurant or similar setting.
Culinary Skills: Strong knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and food preparation methods.
Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential.
Personal Attributes: Passionate about food, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently under pressure. A team player with strong leadership skills is highly valued.
