Senior Communications Consultant

About Cbus

Created by workers, for workers, Cbus Super is one of Australia's most successful Superannuation funds. For almost four decades we've proudly represented those who help shape Australia, hard-working individuals who deserve to make the most of their retirement, no matter the industry.

As an award-winning fund we've been recognised for the benefits provided to our members and our innovative investment approach. All while staying committed to our member first ethos as a proud Industry Fund.

About the role

Our Member Communications team is looking for a Senior Communications Consultant to join them on a 6 month maximum term contract basis. There is possibility to extend, but this is dependant on business requirements at the time. You'll contribute to the delivery of the communication activities, where you will mainly work with the Regulatory Change and Project Communications Lead to develop, review, and distribute communications and supporting collateral to enhance the member experience.

The role will work closely with several other teams across Cbus - particularly insurance, and administration and operations. The ability to build strong cross-functional relationships will be critical.

Key responsibilities of the role are to respond to and refine briefs, assess project requirements, develop and track timelines, and deliver reporting. You will manage initiatives to achieve value for money outcomes through stakeholder management to continuously restore and improve the member experience.

About You

You will need to have strong working knowledge of production and direct mail management. You will have excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to translate complex information into language consistent with both 'plain language' and the Cbus Super and Media Super brand guidelines.

You may also have gained some experience within a marketing communications superannuation setting.

You will ideally be tertiary qualified and have experience in financial services or other heavily regulated sectors.

We're keen to hear from you
