This position aims to provide robotic technical expertise and support to customers throughout the lifecycle of a product or service. He/She plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction, resolving technical issues, and optimizing the performance and functionality of the products or services offered by the company.
Key Roles and Responsibilities- Analyze application and customer requirements and translate them into functional requirements together with the Application Team.
- Help customers and partners optimize their design in the early stage of the project, in close coordination with Sales, customer, partner and the Application Team.
- Understand and analyze customer requirements concerning product/solution capabilities and specifications
- Serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Plan, provide and deliver training on existing and new products, applications and competitive information for different stakeholders which includes but is not limited to customers, partners, salespeople, engineers of both OMRON and Business partners
- Develop, update and disseminate technical guides & tips to increase the knowledge and skill level of the sales force via company intranet and/or electronic newsletter
- Evaluate newly release product and develop/modify new product training kit or training material through coordination with Headquarter
- Support sales reps with on-site demonstration and programming for customers as needed
- Diploma/degree in Engineering discipline (Mechatronics/Electrical/Robotic)
- Knowledgeable in Windows applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- At least 5 years of working experience in technical field
- Strong technical knowledge in Robotic automation industry
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams
- Highly adaptable and flexible to adapt to changing technologies and environments
- Capable to collaborate closely with other functions
- Able to manage complex application support with wider product range
