Business Contribution:

A Territory Manager is responsible for developing business opportunities to grow sales in accordance with Enerpac brand and business guidelines and channel policies. Work with all Enerpac departments to achieve annual growth targets: Product Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain/Sourcing, Finance, Sales Operations, IT, Field Sales, and the Enerpac Executive Office.

Work both individually and with a team to provide technical sales in high pressure hydraulics.

What you will do:

  • Deliver quarterly and yearly top line sales results with improving profitability in the Victoria and Tasmanian region.
  • Identify and prioritize routes to market and implement a strategy that supports new business development while maintaining strong relationships with existing distributors.
  • Support marketing activities by being the face of the company and providing the Voice of the Customer (VOC).
  • Drive strategic marketing and selling initiatives to increase customer engagement in both B2B and B2C
  • Continuously evaluate effectiveness of distribution network
  • Obtain and analyse market information to assist with the development and implementation of strategic direction.
  • To develop annual sales plans and take ownership of forecasts.
  • Provide periodic reports on sales numbers, achievement and activity reports.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the marketplace through regular contact with end customers and distributors
  • Maintain an attitude and appearance commensurate with that of a thoroughly professional salesperson
  • Maintain company property (vehicle, demonstration stock, promotional items, etc) in excellent condition
  • Timely and accurately submit expense reports

What makes you an ideal candidate:

Required Capabilities:

  • Sales experience with demonstrated experience managing complex accounts and multiple team members
  • A good understanding of the markets served in the region (Mining, O&G, General Industrial, Infrastructure and Shipbuilding).
  • Ability to work from home, autonomous self-starter.
  • Sufficient technical competencies or the ability to navigate a technical environment with the support of subject matter experts.
  • Ability to communicate effectively among a diverse group of individuals from varying levels within the company and customer organization.
  • Ability to search for solutions, continuous improvement and constantly raise the bar to stretch own and others’ levels of achievement.
  • Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office suite, CRM systems and industry databases to generate various reports, develop presentations and data management.
  • Inspires and motivates all stakeholders and creates energy
  • Anticipates changes in business conditions and ensures appropriate action is taken to account for these changes
  • Possesses the ability to clarify complex situations
  • Encourages and facilitates change - promotes diversity of ideas
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with a bias towards action and speed
  • Regular travel, 1 in 3 to the Victoria and Tasmanian regions visiting end-user and Distributors. Ad hoc trips may be required to meet customer demands.
  • Results oriented while constantly displaying integrity and respect

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales/marketing or equivalent related field experience

Experience Requirements:

  • Industrial industry and/or high-pressure hydraulics experience;
  • Knowledge of industrial distribution and business strategies;
  • Proven experience in building and developing strong relationships with key customers and effective professional network
  • Experience in demonstrating equipment and presenting to groups.
  • Direct selling experience to Mining, Oil & Gas and construction sectors
  • Experience selling a multi-brand products
