We have an exciting new opportunity at nbn for a Senior Service Now Engineer, reporting to the Executive Manager Dev Sec Ops Network Assurance.

A bit about your role

As a Senior Service Now Engineer at nbn, you will take on a pivotal role within the Dev Sec Ops team, part of the Systems Engineering and Operations (SEO) unit. You will be instrumental in driving the development, security, and operations of Service Now capabilities that underpin our enterprise solutions.

This is a unique opportunity to grow both technically and in agile ways of working while leading exciting initiatives that shape nbn’s future.

You will work alongside a highly skilled team, designing, building, testing, and supporting robust, secure, and scalable solutions on the Service Now platform. As part of this, you will engage across the business—collaborating with stakeholders, architects, delivery managers, and vendors—to deliver solutions that are aligned with strategic priorities.

This role will be an opportunity to take full ownership of the Service Now platform, ensuring its stability, usability, and maximizing its potential by uncovering new business outcomes.

A bit about you

The successful candidate will bring demonstrated experience in the IT industry, including strong expertise with the Service Now platform. Ideally, you will have certifications such as CSA and CIS (in multiple modules), and deep knowledge of Service Now Information Technology Service Management (ITSM), Customer Service Management (CSM), and IT Operations Management (ITOM) products.

You will bring with you experience in large-scale, complex system integration projects and are adept at using Service Now’s Flow Designer and Integration Hub. You also have a solid understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and ITSM processes, with a passion for driving efficiency and customer-focused solutions.
