IT Manager - Eagle Farm - up to $150k + super

Robert Half are exclusively partnered with a fast-growing Australian owned Ag business, historically they have used the support of MSP's and consultants, they are now in the market for their first IT Manager. This role is the perfect opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer or an IT Manager of a small business to take the reins in an organisation that is about to go on a transformation journey.

Supporting sites in NT, North QLD and Brisbane, the successful applicant will need to be both highly technical but also have the ability to talk in layman's terms to get the buy in of the business, key responsibilities include:

• Act as the sole technical resource, supporting a user base of around 60 employees with that number increasing during the on season
• Effectively manage vendor relationships, predominantly an MSP who have serviced the business for several years
• Steering the IT Strategy in conjunction with the senior leadership team
• Manage key IT projects for the business - both in infrastructure and business systems
• Implement robust security measures to industry standards - designing DR plans in case of emergency
• Keep senior management up to date with any potential changes to the technology footprint of the business that could influence performance

The successful applicant will come from an infrastructure background, ideally with experience supporting rural sites, other key skills include:

• Expert knowledge of the 365 suite, with the ability to troubleshoot at a high level
• Strong Windows systems experience in relation to installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• SharePoint skills will be highly regarded, the business began utilizing the platform in recent years and see it as a key tool to success
• Strong communication skills, effectively managing internal and external stakeholders

Desirable skills include:

• Understanding of API integrations
• Familiarity with Starlink
• Experience with business systems in manufacturing, supply chain management etc
