EAL / SEE Trainer - Mirrabooka, WA
Come and join our ever growing team at MAX Training!- Permanent Full-Time
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Deliver language, literacy, numeracy & digital skills training
- Be part of making a difference in the community
- Supporting people on their learning journey
The Opportunity:
- Use your experience to engage students, use effective learning techniques and maintain a student centred approach
- Identify barriers to learning to support student attendance
- Bring learning to life for students and use different forms of communication to gain positive outcomes
- Conduct pre-training assessments and implement training to meet contract requirements
About you:
- Ability to work with a diverse participants
- Be a driven, supportive and community minded person, working with learners and in some regions, non-English speakers to support them in building future opportunities for themselves through learning
- Able to motivate and upskill jobseekers to improve their LLN skills to complete education and gain employment
- Have the capacity and desire to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment at any given time
- Excellent skills in training facilitation and assessment within vocational area
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of TESOL with current TAE and/or undergraduate degree or teacher qualification with a Graduate Diploma or Education or post graduate TESOL
- Knowledge of the Australian Core Skills Framework preferred
