The role within BRAVE MINDS is responsible for the wellbeing of both staff and clients. The role will allow for a broad range of strategies to be delivered to ensure Brave Minds health and safety policies, and compliance are adhered to.

Daily tasks include:
  1. Research and analyses community issues, needs and problems by operating within a recovery framework and promote reflective practices among NDIS participants by performing regular check-ins with each individual in both staff and all clients, maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including community members and the healthcare system
  2. Plan, implement, deliver, and evaluate strategies to achieve individual NDIS goals.
  3. Provide support to NDIS participants to enhance their quality of life, assisting them while working towards positive changes in their social environment.
  4. Review and evaluate complex case notes for NDIS participants. Develop and implement support plans and facilitate goal-setting processes with NDIS participants.
  5. Identify issues of need, concerns and aspirations of the community by assisting Operations Manager to respond to complaints and compliments from clients, staff and stakeholders.
  6. Create and maintain a respectful and responsive workplace culture by organizing events and recreational activities.
  7. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to WHS policies, procedures and guidelines
  8. Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
  9. Develop, negotiate, and maintain partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in a related field.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in a related field, such as Youth Work, Social Work, Welfare work, Human Services, Community Mental Health or similar.
  • A comprehensive understanding of recovery and rehabilitation using a strength based and solutions focused practice
  • Knowledge and skills in planning, task and activity monitoring, reporting and overall program delivery
Annual salary: $76,000 - $86,000 + superannuation

Full-time (38 working hours/week)
