Project Coordinator
A PJ Bowers Project Coordinator is responsible for owning and controlling the successful completion of projects from customer brief to delivery.
To be successful, a PJ Bowers Project Coordinator defines the customer purpose and objectives, interprets the product requirements in line with PJ Bowers processes and clearly communicates shared expectations between Stakeholders.
To excel in this role your key areas of responsibility include:
- Monitor and maintain project requirements including designs, cost estimates, Bill of Materials (BOM), workflow routings and lead times in line with customer needs and project budgets.
- Correctly document any customer, supplier and third-party provider correspondence in full and in a timely manner.
- Proactively communicate with, and participate in, Stakeholder correspondence and project meetings.
- Follow up with any Stakeholders after any interaction to understand and expedite any further project requirements.
- Ensure all projects are delivered as per approved customer specification, in full and of high quality and within acceptable lead times.
- Interpret customer drawings and specifications to assess the Company’s ability and viability to estimate and complete a project.
- Identify and document any potential risks within product designs, estimates and costings, material supply or quality, production, supply chain or warehouse processes prior to commencement of any project.
- Be accountable for any customer estimates or costings, product designs, routings and instructions which are not in line with Company frameworks or Protocols or do not meet Company expectations.
- Be accountable for all materials, products and parts meeting Company quality standards, tolerance and specifications by performing daily quality control checks during production, finishing and packaging.
- Assist the General Manager and Production Manager in the planning of work orders and manufacturing activity to maximise output efficiency.
Applicants will possess, have knowledge in and demonstrable experience with:
- A minimum of a Diploma of Project Management or related certificate or degree.
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in project management of CNC production and working with a production team.
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in CAM and manufacturing processes.
- A positive attitude with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Long term commitment to help grow our business.
- Ability to work both as a part of a close team and autonomously.
- Capacity to handle challenging, rapidly changing environment.
- Their own reliable transport.
This is not an entry level position, experience in engineering and design methods is a must.
