IT Project Coordinator - Infrastructure - 12 Month contract

We are seeking a motivated, inclusive, and dynamic Project Coordinator to oversee the management and enhancement of our clients IT infrastructure on a long-term day rate contract. As they continue to grow and develop applications, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in improving the clients' networks and hardware to mainly upgrade their existing 30-year-old cabling, install a new cyber room and update all the IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the lifecycle of configuration and efficiently oversee the execution of necessary changes.
• Create and foster relationships with multiple vendors such as CISCO, Webex, recruitment partners, telephony system providers, among others.
• Manage the procurement process, taking the workload the clients current Project Managers.
• Administer financial responsibilities with a focus on checking invoices, flagging incorrect charges, raising purchase orders, and managing Profit and Loss details.
• Understand and efficiently manage stage payments.
• Conduct general project administration tasks effectively and with precision.
• Use strong communication skills to engage with senior stakeholders, within face-to-face meetings.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding and experience with IT infrastructure.
• Proven experience managing vendor relations in a manufacturing environment.
• Financial administration experience preferred.
• Previous experience in project administration is essential.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide and respond to feedback effectively.
• Proactive and self-motivated individuals who can thrive in a dynamic, diverse, and growing company.
• Preferably someone with an understanding of the needs of different persons in the business and the ability to work inclusively.
• Strong bias towards a safety first approach.
