Position Summary:
We are seeking an Enterprise Account Executive (EAE) to join our Enterprise Sales Team. In this direct sales, quota-carrying role defined by territory, you will focus on acquiring new business from large supplier accounts ($150 million+ in annual revenue), upselling or cross-selling to your existing account base and responding to incoming leads from various sources.If you bring demonstrated experience in a quota-carrying sales role, strong communication capabilities and a get after it attitude, this role could be a great fit for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect for new clients using various strategies (email campaigns, networking, cold calling) and offer SPS Commerce solutions to improve their business.
- Build relationships and generate future business by providing a clear understanding of SPS Commerce Full-Service products and their value.
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to create, present, and deliver persuasive executive-level presentations that drive purchase decisions and align with clients' supply chain requirements.
- Manage the sales cycle, align with key stakeholders to maximize value and revenue, and communicate customer trends to Product Management, Channel, and Customer Support for upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
Location:
In this hybrid role, you will be required to work onsite from our Melbourne Australia office 2 days per week.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of relevant work experience, including 3+ years in a quota-carrying sales role, or some post-secondary education with 8 years of relevant work experience.
- Proven experience managing large or Enterprise sales cycles from prospecting to close, demonstrating value, overcoming objections, and persisting through sales cycles.
- Strong customer orientation with a demonstrated ability to identify challenges, articulate value-added solutions, and a track record of selling achievements in conceptual and strategic sales.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work cross-functionally (with product management, support, sales, and senior management).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools; experience with Salesforce.com.
- Prior Retail and SaaS experience are preferred.
