Job Description
Bestbar has a vacancy for a Mechanical Engineering Technician at their business based in Victoria. A Mechanical Engineering Technician is required for the optimisation of plant and equipment for the production of custom steel reinforcement. This is a full-time permanent position.
Qualifications and Experience
To qualify for this position, you will have:- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience within the similar industry.
- Exposure and understanding of manufacturing environments.
- Extensive knowledge of assembling, installing, and repairing new and modified mechanical assemblies, components, machine tools and controls.
- Organising and supervising inspection and maintenance of machines and plant.
- Proficiency in mechanical design and diagnostic testing software.
- Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.
- Great organisational and time management skills.
- Work collaboratively within the team as well as autonomously.
Remuneration
The successful applicant will have a salary within the range $85,000 to $95,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience
