We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Fitter/Diesel Mechanic or Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment related to power systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical faults in machinery and equipment.
• Install, assemble, and test mechanical components and systems.
• Read and Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure precise equipment assembly and repair.
• Work closely with the engineering team to improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Complete job reports, including maintenance logs and parts used, in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III or equivalent).
• Proven experience in mechanical fitting, preferably in the power systems or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety and compliance in the workplace.
• A valid driver’s license.

Desirable:

• Experience with power generation equipment and systems.
• Automotive Mechanic with right attitude and previous relevant experience encourage to apply.
• Knowledge of electrical systems (advantageous but not essential).
• Forklift or other relevant machinery licenses.
