THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Manager- Risk, Governance and Compliance you will be responsible for leading the oversight and application of effective internal risk, governance and external regulatory compliance to CS Energy’s Trading and Retail businesses, while supporting the business to meet its strategic and operational objectives.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Oversee the Market Risk and Credit Risk governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with CS Energy's risk appetite, implementing controls, and monitoring risk exposures.
Lead regulatory compliance efforts across Trading and Retail functions, including annual compliance plans, training programs, and ongoing adherence to obligations.
Provide strategic guidance on market risks, governance, compliance, and the impact of future asset portfolios, making recommendations for updates as needed.
Lead negotiations for master agreements (e.g., ISDA) with OTC counterparties and manage AFMA relationships and accreditation requirements.

Coach and mentor team members, while managing EFR’s enterprise risk and compliance processes.

ABOUT YOU

To thrive in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

Bachelor degree in a commercial or quantitative discipline (e.g. Economics, Finance, Commerce, Mathematics, etc.).
Relevant post graduate qualifications or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 5 years energy industry experience in a leadership role, specifically with risk management oversight; Strong analytical skills with advanced problem solving capabilities.
Proficiency in building partnerships with cross-functional teams to inform and influence.
Exceptional communication, presentation, business writing and professional skills.

Proven experience leading and developing others to deliver strategic outcomes and objectives.
