Position Title: Head Chef
Location: Aurenda Coffee Co, Kings Beach, Queensland

About Us: Aurenda Coffee Co is a lively, community-focused café located on the picturesque headland

of Kings Beach. Known for crafting much of our menu in-house, we serve both hot and cold
dishes made with locally sourced ingredients, offering an extensive range of vegan options.
With two successful years behind us, we’re looking for an experienced Head Chef to elevate
our food offerings while the owner concentrates on coffee and customer experience. This

role promises creative freedom and a balanced lifestyle in a beautiful coastal setting.

Key Details:

Employment Type: Full-time
Work Hours: Breakfast and Lunch service only
Salary: $73,150 per year

Key Responsibilities: As Head Chef, you will manage the kitchen’s day-to-day operations while contributing to
creative menu development. Responsibilities include:

Overseeing daily food preparation, ensuring top-quality and presentation.
Creating innovative dishes, focusing on vegan and locally sourced ingredients.
Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining cost-effective stock levels.
Scheduling staff and fostering a positive, collaborative kitchen environment.
Ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
Assisting with initiatives to enhance the café’s menu and customer experience.
