Key responsibilities
Assisting in the coordination and supervision of staff and participants within the clinical unitEnsuring procedures and guidelines are conducted to industry standards
Administering Investigational Products, prescription and medications
Providing general nursing care, monitoring patient’s well-being and taking appropriate action when necessary
Conduct procedures such as vital signs, ECG’s, blood collection, blood processing and data collection
When required, acting as the nurse in charge and working within a higher scope of practice
Requirements
Registered Division 1 Nurse with APRHA (no restrictions)2 years minimum post graduate experience in an acute care setting
Enthusiastic, driven, positive and highly motivated
Must have excellent time management skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with participants and other health care professionals
Able to work independently and effectively in a team
Maintain a professional level of confidentiality
Availability to commit to morning, afternoon and night shifts across a rotating 7-day roster
Able to commit to a minimum of 3 shifts per week
