About the role

Permanent part time opportunity to provide advanced clinical expertise and care relevant to the specialty area of geriatrics and rehabilitation. This role works collaboratively with the interprofessional team and contributes to enhanced consumer outcomes by actively leading and supporting existing multi-disciplinary models of care, whilst maintaining flexibility and responsiveness to the needs of the health service and consumer populations.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Demonstrate advanced specialist knowledge, experience and clinical skills relevant to the needs of patients in geriatrics and/or rehabilitation settings.
  • Responsible for the professional development of self and others utilising contemporary practice in the delivery of improved standards of care.
  • Collaborate with others in the provision of policy advice on issues relating to professional and clinical practice, education and research relating to area of expertise.
