The Principal Policy Officer position:
- is responsible for the provision of advanced policy analysis and strategic advice in relation to SA Health's intergovernment agreements and other intergovernment policy issues, which will include contributing to the negotiation of policy and associated financial arrangements with the Commonwealth under the National Health Reform Agreement renegotiation.
- will provide guidance in the development of health reform policies and strategies which support the Health Strategy and Intergovernment work program and furthers strategic and policy priorities for the department.
- will provide advice on key issues in the public hospital interface with aged care, primary care, and disability.
