Belmondos Group in Noosa Heads operate several venues including El Capitano Pizzeria andCocktail Bar, Mahi Mahi Fish & Chippery, Doña Cocina Mexicana, Tanglewood Bakery and Delilah.The venues are fully renovated. You will be joining a passionate hospo team.
El Capitano is seeking a committed Sous Chef to join the team. We also have chef de partie positionavailable.About you –
We are looking for a chef who possesses the following attributes

Manage a kitchen without supervision

Follows through with set tasks as they are assigned.
Proven skill and ability in managing food costs, including portion sizes and wastage
To successfully secure a position with us, it is essential that you: Have a minimum 2 years previous experience in a similar role
Can control your temperament in stressful situations; Can set a high quality standard of food and ensure the standard is consistent 7 days a week; Have attention to detail; Be able to manage a team of staff to ensure all staff are focused on a common goal, have apositive attitude to work, colleagues and customers; Maintain a consistently clean kitchen and store areas
Possess professional presentation; Have great communication skills; Be proficient in ordering and stock control; Have a genuine passion to serve good quality and well-presented food; Work well under pressure; Can implement and maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards; Be positive and have a 'can do' attitude; Remuneration and hours of work will be discussed withyou at interview.
