Are you an experienced Welder/Fabricator looking for a new opportunity? Anvil Metal Fabrication is seeking a skilled welder/Fabricator to join their workshop team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities: Work closely with the Shop Floor Supervisor and Operations Manager to meet fabrication schedules.

Read and interpret engineering drawings to fabricate parts as per specification.

Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, aluminium
Carry out minor assembly work and maintain a clean and tidy workshop area.
Ensure compliance with the company’s Business Management System, identifying and reducing risks and hazards.
Maintain a customer-focused approach, ensuring satisfaction and high-quality outputs.
Comply with all legal and safety requirements, reporting opportunities for improvement when necessary.

Perform other tasks as directed by the supervisor or Managing Director.

Mandatory Experience, Skills & Abilities: Extensive MIG and TIG welding experience with steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.

General fabrication experience and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Proficiency in the use of hand tools relevant to the trade.
Ability to meet standard completion times and understand quality management systems.
Demonstrated teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work autonomously when required.

Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive, collaborative attitude.

Desirable Qualifications & Licences (if required): C Class Manual Driver’s License

Forklift License
Trade Qualification

MIG/TIG welding certificates

Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade

This is a full time position for someone who is looking to live and work locally in Kalgoorlie/Boulder
