Our biosensor technology has been used in more than 10 billion measurements for blood glucose monitoring and blood coagulation in diabetes and coagulation patients worldwide.More recently, we have pivoted our technology into non-medical products, including SENTIA™ for the global wine industry and PETRACKR™ for the veterinary domain. In addition, we continue to develop new applications for our technology within human health with the next generation of coagulation monitoring device, Xprecia Prime™ receiving FDA clearance in early 2024.

What you will do
UBI is seeking a highly motivated, passionate and driven individual to join our team. This new role reporting directly to the Global Head of Marketing will be responsible for our revolutionary handheld wine analyzer, SENTIA™ (https://sentiaanalysis.com/) , developed to simplify and elevate the wine testing process for winemakers globally.By leveraging advanced electrochemical technology, SENTIA enables real-time, accurate analysis, helping winemakers make informed decisions throughout the winemaking process.
As the Product Manager, you will develop and implement portfolio marketing plan to drive product promotions and sales growth globally for Sentia. Typical activities also include, key opinion leader development, promotional campaigns, and communications.The role also involves managing strategy, for the development of total solution offers and will work with the product development team to develop new offerings to expand the Sentia suite.
Who you are
We are looking for a results-driven and proactive candidate who may be degree-qualified in Wine Science/testing background; or, degree-qualified in chemistry/molecular biology background. You'd have at least 3 years' experience in product management role.Your love for wine and strong foundation in oenology/viticulture will blend scientific understanding with creative product management.
The role will perform (but not limited to) the following activities:
- Collaborate closely with R&D and customers to continuously evolve SENTIA
- Complete annual marketing cycle responsibilities
- Complete demand forecast on a monthly basis
- Foster community and advocacy for SENTIA with social media and other channels - champion SENTIA
- Undertake regular market research activities
- Deliver sales & profitability targets in line with budget/performance measures
- Participate and contribute in the development of all sales & marketing initiatives, including trade shows and stakeholder presentations.
- Strong relationship and customer management skills
- Ability to derive clarity from ambiguity (opportunity, vision, strategy, roadmap)
- Sound capability in customer engagement, wireframing, user story writing, etc.
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively
- Solid learning agility and adaptability managing ongoing product development & delivery
- Sound knowledge of the winemaking industry
- Proven ability to execute targeted marketing strategies
- Ability to build relationships and solve problems remotely
